Reusable totes are a great alternative to plastic bags!
If you're looking for an environmentally conscious way to market your business, custom tote bags are perfect! They're affordable, highly customizable, and one of my most popular "eco-friendly" products.
Why are single-use plastic bags such a problem?
A quick Google search for "the problem with plastic bags" returns many websites with doom and gloom statistics about how our oceans and landfills are overflowing with plastics. I won't bother you with the details here, but it's safe to say it's pretty scary.
Are tote bags better for the environment?
Yes! When we reduce our reliance on plastic and choose reusable tote bags, we're helping make the world better. If we all make an effort together we can make a huge difference. My trick is to store my reusable bags in my trunk, so I never forget.

2024 Update: Half of US states have some form of a plastic bag ban. 12 states have completely banned single-use plastic bags, and 13 have partial bans. In addition, the entire country of Canada banned plastic bags in 2021, and many predict other countries to follow suit.

Absolutely. Not only are reusable bags affordable, but they're also highly functional. But most importantly, anyone carrying a bag with your logo is a walking billboard for you!

Warning - Beware cheap tote bags!
Like with all hot trends, there's always going to be a race to see who can produce them the cheapest. So please don't be fooled by "too good to be true" deals online.
If you buy a cheap bag and it falls apart, remember that your company's name, logo, and contact info will be visible on that bag sitting in the landfill or floating in the ocean.
